Repairing and mechanical plant was founded in 1969. in Gorna Oryahovitsa as a division of the ZAHARNI ZAVODI. During the years the company has been specializing in the production of machinery, equipment and spare parts for the sugar industry, as well as for manufacturing and assembling of metal frameworks, assembly of different pipelines and providing engineering solutions and services.
The plant has at its disposal a wide range of production capacities – mechanical processing of rotary and prismatic parts having specific measurements, gear shaping, dynamical balancing of high-velocity rotating parts, cold deformation of sheet materials, TIG – MIG/ MAG welding, blacksmith’s and carpenter’s services, pattern-mould box equipment.The company provides mechanical-repairing and recovering of the agricultural technics, building technics, road-engineering technics etc. Manufacturing programme includes products of ferrous, non-ferrous and stainless metals, such as heat-exchangen apparatuses, tanks, mixers, condensers, transporters, elevators, feeders, etc. Our foundry is equipped with 2 furnaces – an arc furnace, which allows castings of cast-iron and steel up to 700 kg and one inductive furnace for castings up to 500kg. Thermal processing of the castings is carried out in a thermal processing furnace with temperature of up to 1000° С and effective volume of 2,2 m3 .The laboratory for mechanical testing provides tensile, compression,bending, strength and impact toughness testing, in order to guarantee the required level of the used materials. With our stand equipment we are capable of producing cylindrical vessels with up to 50 m3 volume. We have the capacity for production of indoor tanks with unlimited volume capacity and parameters.

Repairing and mechanical plant operates as an independent entity under the name of “RMZ Gorna Oryahovitsa” EOOD since 2010.
